Gallus III

Gallus III was a planet, the third planet of the Gallus system, located within the Romulan Star Empire in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants. It was the homeworld of a developing civilization.

History and specifics[]

Gallus III had a blue sky and nominal gravity. Lifeforms included birds and trees.

In 2273, war criminal Luthar Akris prepared a weapon of mass destruction from an alternate reality for use by Romulans, but recommended it not be tested on a starbase or starship. The dreadnought prototype Raptor orbited Gallus and beamed the Nightbringer to site Kurog on the surface.

Lieutenant Commander Hikaru Sulu and a security team from the USS Enterprise transported to that location in hopes of destroying the weapon while also respecting the Prime Directive. (TOS - The Motion Picture: Echoes comics: "Issue 4", "Issue 5")
