Gantt was a male Bajoran who lived in the 24th century. Gantt was a member of the Shakaar resistance cell and functioned as a medic.

In 2357, Gantt participated in the Shakaar liberation of the Gallitep labor camp. (ST - Terok Nor novels: Night of the Wolves, Dawn of the Eagles)

In 2361, Gantt treated Kira Nerys after she suffered injuries after having been attacked by several Cardassian soldiers. (DS9 novel: Fearful Symmetry)

Gantt treated Kira Taban after Kira's father was hurt by the Cardassians. (DS9 episode: "Ties of Blood and Water")

Alternate timeline[]

In an alternate timeline in which the Cardassian Union did not withdraw from Bajor in 2369, Gantt was killed fighting the Cardassians prior to 2373. By that time, Kira was the last surviving member of the Shakaar resistance cell. (TNG - Myriad Universes novel: A Gutted World)
