In the 2280s, Gapo led a troop of Klingons warriors on Christofi IX. When Federation starships were approaching, Gapo ordered his men to kill the natives before leaving. Before leaving himself, he caught Konom trying to abandon the mission. Gapo grabbed a little girl and ordered Konom to shoot her or he would kill him himself.(TOS comic: "Getaway")
