A Garidian warbird was a 24th century starship class, a variant of the Romulan D'deridex-class warbird in Garidian Republic service by the 2360s decade. (TNG video game: A Final Unity)
History and specifications[]
In 2369, Pentara's warbird Asiram crossed the Romulan Neutral Zone in pursuit of a scout vessel. Asiram locked disruptors with the Starfleet flagship USS Enterprise-D, which in turn trained its phasers on the warbird. According to a tactical analysis by Lieutenant Worf of the Enterprise, the Garidian warbird was similar to the D'deridex class. Compared to the Galaxy-class starship, the Garidian warbird was less maneuverable but had slightly more firepower. (TNG video game: A Final Unity)
In 2379, Garidian rebels seized the Romulan D'deridex-class warbird IRW Unity during its visit to Garid. It was repainted in the Garidian colors and remained in their service through the rest of the 24th century. In the 25th century, the rebels joined the nascent Romulan Republic and brought the Unity with them.
In 2411, the Unity became the prototype of a D'deridex-class subclass variant following a refit to legendary starship configuration. (STO website: House United: Legendary D'deridex Miracle Worker Warbird Battlecruiser)
