Gene Kelly (23 August 1912 - 2 February 1996) was an American dancer, singer, actor, director and choreographer who lived on Earth during the 20th century.

One of his most famous performances was in the 1952 film Singin' in the Rain. This film - and in particular, one of Kelly's dance numbers - was a favorite of USS Enterprise yeoman Minnie Moskowitz. (TOS short story: "The Girl Who Controlled Gene Kelly's Feet")
