George Foster was a 24th century Human man who served as Superintendent of Starfleet Academy in the early 2370s.

Biography

Born in 2301, Foster graduated from Starfleet Academy with honors in the year 2323. He was promoted to captain in 2334, and during his career was awarded the Legion of Honor, the Starfleet Medal of Honor, the Preantares Ribbon of Commendation and the Federation Medal of Valor, and was also decorated for gallantry.

Foster served as the CO of the USS Valiant for at least ten years, and in 2360 took command of the USS Möwe. When the Möwe returned to Earth for upgrading in 2371, he was offered the superintendent's post at Starfleet Academy.

Foster wrote the introduction for a new edition of the Starfleet Academy Handbook, wherein he discussed duty, honor and truth. He had an open-door policy for cadets and routinely met with staff. (Last Unicorn RPG - SA module: Starfleet Academy Handbook)
