George Washington (February 22, 1732 - December 14, 1799) was a human who lived on Earth during the 18th century. Born in what would later be the state of Virginia, Washington would later become one of the most influential men in human history who was often called the Father of His Country.
Washington was a leader in the American Revolution as the commander in chief of the American military forces. Following the American's successful bid for independence, Washington would become a statesman. Washington was later elected as the first President of the United States.
The capital city of the United States, Washington, DC was named after him, as was the state of Washington. (TOS episode The Cage) Washington's face was later carved on to the face of Mount Rushmore. (TOS movie Star Trek V: The Final Frontier).
Once, the Rutian terrorist leader Kyril Finn tried to justify himself to Doctor Beverly Crusher by comparing himself to General Washington in his struggle to obtain independence for the Ansatan people. Crusher rejected the comparison, stating that Washington was a military general who did not target innocent civilians. (TNG episode The High Ground).
