George Washington (February 22, 1732 - December 14, 1799) was a human who lived on Earth during the 18th century. Born in what was then the British colony of Virginia, Washington became a military officer, serving first for the British, and then as commander-in-chief of the American forces fighting for independence. Following the revolution and the establishment of the United States of America, Washington was elected as the first President.

Washington was immortalized in a carving on the face of Mount Rushmore, a monument which survived at least until the late 23rd century. (TOS movie: Star Trek V: The Final Frontier).

During his encounter with Doctor Beverly Crusher, terrorist leader Kyril Finn compared himself to George Washington in his struggle to gain independence from the Rutians for the Ansatan people. Crusher rejected the comparison, stating that Washington was a military general who did not target innocent civilians. (TNG episode: "The High Ground").
