See Zhukov for other articles with titles that contain, either by relationship or by coincidence, this character's surname.

Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov (1 December 1896 - 18 June 1974) was a human military leader. He was a marshal of the Soviet Union and a leader of the Russian army during World War II.

Pavel Chekov had a great admiration for Marshal Zhukov. In October 1942, after being sent back in time by the omnipotent being Weyland, Chekov met Zhukov and Joseph Stalin at the Kremlin. When Stalin asked Chekov which of his staff he admired most, Chekov wanted to name Zhukov but was warned not to by the look in Zhukov's eyes. Chekov instead named General Vassili Chuikov, who was erroneously believed to be his uncle. (TOS novel: Home Is the Hunter)
