Geror was a 23rd century Yannid VI native, the political leader of his homeworld.

Biography[]

In the early 2250s decade, King Geror began negotiations to join the Federation, but the Klingon Empire backed rebel forces who stormed the palace and assassinated him.

The starship USS Republic responded to help rescue the heir apparent, kidnapped Prince Arlph. Unfortunately, a stray phaser shot from Ensign James T. Kirk struck Arlph, putting him into a coma. Under local law, Arlph's brother then succeeded his father as king. (TOS comic: "The Enterprise Murder Case!")
