Gerrold University was an institution of higher learning on Sherman's Planet in the 24th century.

History and specifics[]

Donald Wheeler attended in the 2370s and 2380s decades, and earned a degree in pre-Federation Tellarite literature from Gerrold University in the year 2380. (TNG novel: Losing the Peace)

Gerrold University is evidently named for David Gerrold, who created Sherman's Planet in the TOS episode: "The Trouble with Tribbles".
