Gerry Auberson was a Human man, a communications officer who served on the USS Enterprise in the late 23rd century under the command of Captain James T. Kirk.

Biography[]

In 2273, Auberson attended the ship-wide recreation room briefing on the threat posed by V'ger. (TOS movie: The Motion Picture)

Later that year, Auberson manned the communications station on the bridge when Leonard McCoy and Reiko Onami asked him to locate Doctor Christine Chapel on Daran IV to help with a condition affecting Spring Rain on Still Water, as Chapel was more familiar with Megarite physiology. Later, Auberson briefed Kirk while Hikaru Sulu was in command, and warned ship's personnel over the intercom that the ship's artificial gravity would shortly be halved. (TOS novel: Ex Machina)

In March of 2275, Auberson called the senior officers to the bridge after receiving a distress call from Timeship Two in a nearby neutron star system. Nyota Uhura relieved him when she arrived. (DTI novel: Forgotten History)
