Ghlarig was a Nausicaan trader.
In 2371, Ghlarig either stole or otherwise illegally obtained an Iconian religious fetish that he sold on to Lane Crockett. Ghlarig felt cheated by the sale and violently confronted Crockett in Quark's bar on Deep Space 9. Choosing to defend himself, Crockett stabbed Ghlarig with one of Ghlarig's own knives, killing him. Odo arrested Crockett, but as Crockett acted in self defence against Ghlarig Odo was ordered by Benjamin Sisko to release him. (DS9 - The Secret of the Lost Orb comic: "The Search")
