For other uses, see Wu.

Giancarlo Wu was a human male and was the senior attaché to the Federation ambassador to the Klingon Empire. He began working at the Federation Embassy on Qo'noS sometime prior to 2369. (TNG novel: A Time for War, A Time for Peace)

In 2376 Wu began working for Ambassador Worf and traveled aboard the IKS Gorkon with him on his first mission to the planet taD. (TNG novel: Diplomatic Implausibility)

In 2379 a Klingon rebel group calling themselves Klahb attempted to take over the embassy. Wu was among those who were captured. He initially attempted to speak to his captors, but soon encouraged Alexander Rozhenko to do so instead. Eventually the embassy was freed by Worf. The invaders would be prosecuted by the Klingon authorities, but Wu would be present at any proceedings, including interrogations, as a Federation representative. (TNG novel: A Time for War, A Time for Peace)
