Within the mirror universe, during a fractured version of the 24th century, the whale known as Gillian was an officer of the Imperial Starfleet, serving as the Cetacean ops officer that had been assigned to serve beneath Captain Kathryn Janeway onboard her vessel, the ISS Voyager-A.
