Gnala was a planet, a class M world, that was the homeworld of the Gnalish civilization. By the early 24th century, Gnala was a member of the United Federation of Planets.

History and specifics[]

In the year 2333, Captain Jean-Luc Picard redirected the USS Stargazer to Gnala at the request of Lieutenant Commander Phigus Simenon, a native of the planet, so that he could participate in a procreation contest. (STA novel: Progenitor)

In 2380 in the First Splinter timeline, Gnala was represented in the Federation Council by an individual named Gelemingar. (ST novel: Articles of the Federation)
