Goldilocks was a fictional Human character who appeared in the 19th century British fairy tale Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
History[]
In 2266, Montgomery Scott told the story of Colonel Goldilocks and the Three Gardazian Bears to Niki, an infant Oordon native. In this version, Goldilocks was a space explorer with the rank of colonel who came across a family of Gardazian bears. (TOS comic: "World Against Time")
Legacy[]
Per the character's preferences, the Goldilocks zone was a region of habitability within a solar system within which water could exist on a planet in solid, liquid and gaseous states, where conditions were "just right" for life. Humanoid life depended on these class M conditions. (TOS novel: Devil's Bargain, Star Trek Adventures RPG module: The Sciences Division)
