Gorak was a star system, located somewhere in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants, in or near the 24th century boundaries of Federation space.

History and specifics[]

The Gorak system's orbit was the location of a number of worlds, including the ninth planet, Gorak IX. Researchers from the Federation starship USS Hood discovered ancient machinery on Gorak IX during a visit in January of the year 2380. (ST novel: Articles of the Federation)
