Lori, a Goranian girl
The Goranians were an alien humanoid civilization native to the planet Goran IV, a homeworld located somewhere in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants.
History and specifics[]
By stardate 8124.5, in the 2270s decade, the Goranians were at a pre-industrial level of development, similar to 16th century Earth. The people were very superstitious and feared the unknown. Sciences such as astronomy were considered heretical and practitioners were often put to death. The civilization was a theocracy, with belief in the Supreme Soul as the guiding force in life.
