Biography[]
In 2376, Ensign Gordimer served aboard starbase Deep Space 9 and the USS Defiant as a security officer. During the Gateways crisis, he was assigned to the Defiant while it helped with the evacuation of Europa Nova, then remained aboard Deep Space 9 once the refugees were dropped off and worked with Ensign Cathy Ling to assist with their relocation. Beginning in June of the same year, he was part of Commander Elias Vaughn's crew aboard the Defiant on a three month tour of exploration in the Gamma Quadrant. (DS9 - Mission Gamma novel: Twilight)
