Gorkon's Retreat

The pirate base, Gorkon's Retreat.

Gorkon's Retreat was an abandoned Klingon battle station in the Altanis Idrilon system in the Draconis Outback region.

History and specifics[]

After the Klingon Civil War, the Orion pirate Bardeck Gorales seized it and transformed it into a powerful pirate haven, and named it Gorkon's Retreat.

The Retreat served as a major center for black market and illegal trade throughout the Alpha Quadrant, and made Gorales a key figure in the Orion Syndicate. Up to a dozen K'vort-class Bird-of-Prey or smaller ships could dock on the stations' curved docking arms. The station had a crew of 212 plus 113 inhabitants, and a maximum capacity or complement of 15,000 . It was equipped with 10 transporters and 6 tractor beams. Defending the station were two Type VI phasers and a phased deflector array. (Decipher RPG module: Narrator's Guide; Last Unicorn RPG module: Raiders, Renegades & Rogues)
