The Grand Penatorium is a temple of the Questers on the planet Frigis. It was built around an ancient Chodak transporter pad which the Lawgiver Avatrunei used during the last years of his life. Wanting to preserve it from prying eyes, the Questers guarded it behind a force field. The transporter was activated with the Lawgiver's melody 'Traveling Music' and led to a cache where the Fifth Scroll was hidden but the Questers never managed to find how to activate it.

The role of the Penatorium was to make the Gynarch's subjects more disciplined and firm-willed. Gynarch Madia met an away team led by William Riker of the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D) while they were looking for the Fifth Scroll. Having helped her, they gained access to the pad and by using an orchestrion from the Chanters, the team managed to transport themselves to where the Scroll was. (TNG video game: A Final Unity)
