Graphic Novel Collection, Volume 15: The Newspaper Strips Volume 1 is an omnibus published by Eaglemoss Collections in 2017, the 15th in the Graphic Novel Collection series. It was the first of three volumes to collect the weekly US Comic Strips series.

Description[]

The U.S. Newspaper Strips count as rarities among Star Trek comics. Published between 1979 and 1983, they have been back to print only recently.

These unique stories continue where The Motion Picture ended, taking the Enterprise's crew to new worlds and new adventures.

As a collaboration between numerous talented artists and writers, these missions make up a truly colorful journey through space.

Front cover art combines a side view of James T. Kirk first printed 4 December 1979 with a drawing of the refit USS Enterprise by Thomas Warkentin that originally appeared in the first panel of the strip's debut on 2 December. Back cover art highlights Sunday panels from "Called Home" and "The Real McCoy": Spock from 30 December 1979, the Enterprise from 6 April 1980, Joann Zauber and the Skorpius freighter from 9 March, Kirk and Ilia from 13 January, and the Enterprise from 6 January.
The rest of the US Comic Strips were collected in Graphic Novel Collection volumes 24 and 34.
