- Front cover art is a composite of the four David Messina individual issue covers, also used for the miniseries omnibus cover. Endpapers were from the two page spread in Number Four, pages 10-11, and the back cover is a closeup of Spock from that issue's final page.
- Other Kelvin timeline movie tie-in comics were reprinted in volumes 1 (Countdown), 7 (Star Trek Movie Adaptation), 36 (Khan), and 81 (Countdown to Darkness). Other Kelvin timeline miniseries were reprinted in volumes 8 (IDW Starfleet Academy), 45 (Manifest Destiny), Special 1 (The Spectrum War), and Special 6 (Stranger Worlds).
