Greg Thometz was a 23rd century Human man. He was known for serving in Starfleet as a Commandant of Starfleet Academy.
Biography[]
In 2285, Thometz notified Rear Admiral James T. Kirk that an incident during during his second five-year mission — the USS Enterprise's quest to recover the missing USS Robert A. Heinlein — was being considered as the basis for a revised cadet exercise at Starfleet Academy. Unlike the Kobayashi Maru scenario, it would test numerous qualities of a potential CO beyond those needed to face a no-win situation. He didn't think cadets would be able to cheat on this test.
