The Grendel-class dreadnought was the designation for a type of Gorn warship serving in the Gorn Royal Navy in the 23rd century. It was classified as a dreadnought or command ship. The term "Grendel", from Anglo-Saxon mythology, was likely a human reporting name, but may have phonetically resembled its Gorn designation, or a similar mythological creature on Gornar.

It was considered one of the heaviest starships ever built up until that time. One observed weapons loadout for the starship were phasers and plasma torpedoes, it carried a compliment of Gorn marines, and it had a capacity for sixteen shuttlecraft.
