The Griffin class was a type of Romulan starship in operation in the late 24th century.
The Griffin class was developed to be a supporting vessel to the larger, more powerful D'Deridex class. They have stronger shields and a larger crew compliment than usual for a vessel of their size.
Some vessels of the class have been fitted with sensor jammers which disable the sensors of all other ships near by.
