Griscom was a member of the medical staff of the USS Lexington, serving under chief medical officer Elizabeth Lense.
In 2374, during a battle in the Setlik system during the Dominion War, Griscom was incapacitated when the Lexington's sickbay was breached by a Dominion strike. (SCE eBook: War Stories, Book 1)
- It is unclear whether or not Griscom was one of the numerous casualties of this battle. He was named after the medical examiner from the final season of Homcide: Life on the Street, played by Austin Pendleton.
