Memory Beta, non-canon Star Trek Wiki

Gunabibi was a female Human from the planet Rampart in the 24th century.

She was a Rampartian Dissenter who was descended from and named after the Gunabibi, an Australian aboriginal fertility cult from the ancient history of Earth. She lived in the caves of Alastor along with Caliban, Coyote, Nikitushka Lomov, the Nummo twins, Powell, Rhiannon and other Dissenters. As a Dissenter, she had immersed herself in the history of her culture and was a storyteller. She was elderly and played a dijiridu, a musical instrument.

History[]

In 2366, Deanna Troi met the inhabitants of Alastor. Gunabibi cooked a delicious stew for Troi. She lamented to Troi that, for her fellow Rampartians who censored fiction and had no sense of imagination, the wisdom and stories of elderly people were not valued. (TNG novel: Gulliver's Fugitives)
