Guy W. McLimore, Jr. is a writer and RPG game developer who co-created FASA's Star Trek: The Role Playing Game.
McLimore cofounded Evansville, Indiana-based Fantasimulations Associates with Greg Poehlein and David Tepool. The three long-time TOS fans were invited by FASA Corporation's Jordan Weisman and L. Ross Babcock III to develop a TOS game after four earlier attempts had been rejected. McLimore, Poehlein, and Tepool based their system on Star Trek's core beliefs of peaceful conflict resolution, intelligence and IDIC, and strove to create a product that would appeal to first-time gamers.
McLimore was given special thanks for "paving the way" in the Last Unicorn Games RPG books.
He has co-designed other RPGs, including FASA's Doctor Who Role Playing Game.
