Sir Guy of Gisbourne was a mythological Human who lived in the 12th and 13th centuries on Earth. He was an ally of the Sheriff of Nottingham and a romantic rival to Robin Hood for Maid Marian.

In 2367, when Q forced the senior officers of the USS Enterprise-D to participate in a recreation of Sherwood Forest, Sir Guy of Gisbourne held Vash (who was playing the role of Maid Marian) prisoner in Nottingham Castle. (TNG episode: "Qpid")
