Gyrik was a male Klingon, one of two assassins charged in early 2373 with killing Starfleet Captains Jean-Luc Picard and Benjamin Sisko, in order to drive a deeper wedge between the Klingon Empire and the Federation. Gyrik and his partner were both killed when their Kivra-class shuttlepod was struck by a plasma storm in the Badlands, and crashed on the planet B'Leva.
