Hajime Shoji was a male Human, born in 23rd century. Shoji was a Starfleet officer and an admiral for more than a century.

In 2290, Admiral Shoji contacted Hikaru Sulu to inform him that James T. Kirk would be assisting him on a mission investigating the Anjiri and the Nykkus. (TOS novel: War Dragons)

In 2371, Admiral Shoji was involved in a subspace conference between Admirals Alynna Nechayev, Judith Hayman and Kirschbaum, Captain Benjamin Sisko and Professor T'Kreng. At the meeting, Shoji expressed worry at whether the Bajoran wormhole's disruption had been artificially caused, such as by the Furies or another race. (DS9 - Invasion! novel: Time's Enemy)
