Hakton

Hakton was a star system located in the Demilitarized Zone created by the treaty between the United Federation of Planets and the Cardassian Union of 2370.

History and specifics[]

This system was the location of a number of planets, including Hakton VII, a habitable world that was the location of a group of Federation settlers. When the system was ceded to the Cardassians in 2370, the population lost their Federation citizenship. (DS9 episode: "The Maquis, Part II"; TNG - S31 novel: Rogue)
