The Halloran was a civilian freighter that operated from Mars in the 2370s. It was commanded by Captain Monaghan.
In 2376, the Halloran was making the Jovian run, when it entered an Iconian Gateway and was transported to the Kar-telos system in the Gamma Quadrant. The Halloran contacted Deep Space 9 through the new wormhole relay station and the USS Sungari was sent to escort the freighter back to the Alpha Quadrant.
The Halloran later assisted in the evacuation of the Europani from Europa Nova. (DS9 novel: Demons of Air and Darkness)
