Harmony 2 was a 22nd century United Earth spacecraft, a low-warp starship in United Earth Starfleet service around the 2120s and 2130s decades. (ENT novel: Daedalus's Children)

Service history and disposition[]

In the early 22nd century, Humans worked on developing faster warp engines. The Warp Five Complex was opened in 2119. (ENT episode & novelization: Broken Bow)

Monique Duvall served as helmsman aboard Harmony 2 following her graduation from Academy flight school. In the 2130s, she became first officer of the prototype vessel Constellation. Following her promotion to captain's rank, she assumed command of Maximillian.

In 2140, Duvall left Maximillian to captain another prototype vessel, the Daedalus, equipped with an untested cascade ion drive. 'Daedalus was lost with all hands on its maiden flight. (ENT novel: Daedalus's Children)

It was only in 2143 that Starfleet broke the warp 2 barrier, when NX-Alpha achieved warp 2.2. (ENT episode: "First Flight")

Legacy[]

In March 2153, Captain Jonathan Archer of Earth's NX-class warp-5 ship Enterprise NX-01 encountered another version of Captain Duvall in an alternate universe. He recalled the primary universe Duvall's service as helmsman of Harmony 2. (ENT novel: Daedalus's Children)
