For other uses, see Harry.

Harré was a 23rd century Iskonian man, a rebel freedom fighter who resided on the planet Iskonia.

Biography[]

In the 23rd century, Harré joined Strike Force, part of the planet's rebellion against its Omnimind overlord, and rose to become leader of Unit 3. Unlike many Iskonians, Sergeant Harré appeared not to have been enhanced with cybernetics, though he was athletic and muscular.

In the year 2274, Harré infiltrated the Hall of Science to spy on Omnimind's robots. When he was captured, he learned that a new strategy would soon be implemented to obliterate the rebellion. He broke free of his restraints in an experimental laboratory and spotted a landing party from the Federation starship USS Enterprise. Harré tried ushering them to an escape route, but was briefly knocked unconscious by a Klingon cyborg under Omnimind's control. He awoke in time to see Commander Kolak's officers resist cyborg programming enough to destroy the lab and commit suicide honorably as Klingon warriors. Harré led the landing party led by Captain James T. Kirk to safety — through underground septic tunnels the Omnimind's robots could not navigate — and brought them to the rebellion's headquarters.

When a security team was beamed down near the Hall of Science, Kirk wanted to rendezvous with them. Harré didn't want teammate Lyra to leave with them, but she insisted, believing that their new allies might lead them to victory. Harré and his team were outside in the capital city when the Omnimind and its robots shut down. (TOS comic: "Restructuring Is Futile")
