For other uses, see Harry.

Harry was a young chimpanzee born on Earth in the 21st century. In 2052 he became the first primate to be transported.

Biography[]

Harry was rescued from a bioterrorism laboratory a few years prior to 2052.

In 2052, Harry was teleported from a laboratory in San Diego using an experimental transporter built by scientist Colin Blakeney. He was beamed across the street to the top of a van owned by a television station. He ripped off a piece of the van's radio antenna, then was dematerialized and returned to the laboratory. The historic event, as well as its political and social consequences, was covered extensively by the San Diego Chronicle newspaper.

Within the next day or two, George Pimintel and Blakeney fought in the lab, and during their struggle the transporter dematerialized them both. The device overloaded and exploded, wrecking the laboratory and the transporter, but Harry safely fled the area. (TNG comic: "Forgiveness")
