Harvesting station

Harvesting station was the classification of a type of small starbase which were established by the Romulan Empire Star Navy in the unaligned Encaria star system in the year 2159, during the Earth-Romulan War. Placed in orbit of a planet in the system, these orbital facilities were used to harvest biogenic material from the surface, delivered by biogenic transports, for their mutagenic virus. Ultimately, all five harvesting stations were destroyed by a task force of Earth Starfleet vessels led by the NX-class Enterprise NX-01. (ST video game: Legacy)
