Harvesting station 17 was one of five Romulan Empire Star Navy harvesting stations that were established in the unaligned Encaria star system in the year 2159. Placed in orbit of a planet in the system, this orbital facility was used to harvest biogenic material from the surface, delivered by biogenic transports, for their mutagenic virus. Ultimately, all five harvesting stations were destroyed by a task force of Earth Starfleet vessels led by the NX-class Enterprise NX-01. (ST video game: Legacy)
