These vehicles featured a special attachment that contained a magazine for construction materials as well as an articulated delivery roller systerm that was used to place the building panels into position. These panels were fixed in place using the construction bee's welding laser. Regardless of configuration, the generic Romulan bee system possessed an elegance and poise that was uncommon in a utility vehicle. This led to some in Starfleet Intelligence to believe that the vehicle had some hidden military role or position but there was not enough evidence to support this suspicion.
