The Hawking (NCC-1701-D/03) was a 24th century Federation auxiliary vessel, a Type-7 shuttlecraft in Starfleet service in the 2360s decade. The Hawking was assigned to the Galaxy-class explorer USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D). (Shuttle Collection Issue 07: "Shuttlecraft Type-7")
Service history[]
The Hawking was constructed at the Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards. It was one of several shuttles assigned to the Enterprise-D for that starship's launch in 2363. The Hawking and its sister shuttles were used frequently early in the Enterprise-D's service. (Shuttle Collection Issue 07: "Shuttlecraft Type-7")
