Hayao was a city on the planet Kremlat.
The city was founded after the Nausicaans who survived the Borg attack on Nausicaa during the Borg Invasion of 2381 relocated to Kremlat in 2387. Hayao was the first permanent city built on Kremlat, and served as the capital city.
By 2389 Hayao was thriving, with the Nausciaans breaking ground on a new Temple to the Four Winds in February of that year. (TNG novel: Collateral Damage).
