Henry "Hank" McCoy (code name The Beast) was a mutant and a member of the X-Men team in the 1990s decade of an alternate reality. In the year 2268, he and several of his teammates crossed over into the primary universe in pursuit of Proteus (TOS - Star Trek—X-Men comic: "Star TreX")
