Henry Ndugu was a 23rd century Human man. He served in Starfleet as a security guard aboard the Federation starship USS Enterprise in the 2260s.

In 2269, Henry Ndugu lost four rounds of eight-ball against sub-engineer Duchamps in the recreation room. Ndugu was skilled at eight-ball and ordinarily had no trouble beating Duchamps. The Enterprise was approaching the Amusement Park Planet for shore leave, and he was so much looking forward to beaming down that he couldn't keep his mind on the game. Instead, he kept daydreaming about his shore leave fantasy: he was N'gombi, a famed African hunter tracking a rogue lion in the jungle that had been threatening his tribe.
