History and specifics[]
Under the alias of "Micah Brack", Flint purchased Holberg 917G as a private refuge. As the world was uninhabited, Flint took careful steps to ensure it remained that way while he created a home there in order to live a reclusive existence. During that time, he managed to engineer a number of female androids in his quest for an undying love partner; each of which held the name Rayna, which culminated in Rayna 17 who was not allowed to know of her failed predecessors. (TOS episode & Star Trek 5 novelization: Requiem for Methuselah)
At some point during his stay on the planet, Flint was visited by Q. Though Flint assumed the entity had come seeking revenge for when Flint had trapped him as Vandar, Q was simply curious to see that a conqueror once defined by war and bloodshed had become a man of peace and art. (TOS - Legion of Super-Heroes comic: "Issue 6")
In 2269, Holberg 917G was visited by the USS Enterprise, who were looking for ryetalyn. During the encounter Leonard McCoy discovered that Flint was dying, his immortality fading without the complex fields of Earth to sustain him. (TOS episode & Star Trek 5 novelization: Requiem for Methuselah)
In truth though, Flint had duped the Enterprise crew to conceal his identity once again. Adopting the persona of "Emil Vaslovik", Flint left the planet. (TNG novel: Immortal Coil)
A flock of eldritch space-ray cosmozoans exiled technician Lejeune on Holberg 917G in the 23rd century. (TOS board game: The Adventure Game)
