The holiday item vendor was a service position in q's Winter Wonderland, held by a male Ferengi in the early 25th century. As a trader, he sold items to q's guests - captain of the Alpha Quadrant Alliance - for Lobi crystals and holiday ornaments. The vendor was stationed at the gazebo and wore Bajoran Militia-inspired red robes. (STO - New Romulus mission: "Winter Invasion")

The holiday item vendor set up shop in Wonderland year 2011 (2409), when it was opened for guests by q. Since then, the same Ferengi held the position, stationed in the gazebo, and protected by his Orion bodyguard. Another vendor in the area was the special weapons trader, of Quark Enterprises, who offered guests nanopulse edged weapons. (STO - New Romulus mission: "Winter Invasion")
In W.W. 2012, the special weapons trader was absent, and his mêlée weapon stock was transferred to the holiday item vendor. (STO - Legacy of Romulus mission: "Winter Invasion")
Until W.W. 2013., the special Wonderland foods were sold by the holiday item vendor for ingredients they had collected in the Winter Invasion and throughout the wonderland. However, an unnamed humanoid became the dedicated Winter Wonderland chef and took up a position in the wooden gazebo next to the snow globe containing Gingerbread Colony. This chef acted as baker and cook, fashioning winter-inspired foods and drinks from the collected ingredients. (STO - Legacy of Romulus mission: "Winter Invasion")
In W.W. 2014, Ambassador Neelix replaced the winter chef, and the hitherto wooden gazebo was replaced by a modern construction. The vendor's colleagues in providing services there included Q's friendly customer service, a tailor, a Breen race official and the New Romulan winter epohh researcher. In W.W. 2015, the Gingerbread people established a new settlement in the Wonderland. The Winter Wonderland Chef Neelix relocated to Gingerbread Village, near the Pie Contest Breen's position. (STO - Agents of Yesterday missions: "Pie Eating", "Cones of Conduct")
