The Holodisk was holographic technology used by Jaylah in the Kelvin timeline.

History[]

When Jaylah was young, she used the holodisk in her stick-fighting training against her sister, Keelah. In 2263, Jaylah then used the holodisk to fight off scavengers, Fi'Ja, Hider and Zavanko away from Lt. Commander Montgomery Scott. Captain James T. Kirk then used it along with a PX70 motorcycle as distraction in infiltrating Krall's base to rescue the crew. (TOS - Boldly Go comic: "Issue 5"; TOS movie: Star Trek Beyond)

This article is a stub relating to a type of technology or weapon. You can help our database by expanding on it.

Usage[]

In combat, the holodisk could project as many as three images of the user. This would enable the user to switch places with images to enable her attack. It would ensure that their enemies would not be able to target the real user. (TOS movie: Star Trek Beyond))
