House Lassiriheh was an ancient Vulcan royal House that was described as one of the ruling houses on the planet Vulcan. This house specifically ruled the Lassiriheh province.

Specifics[]

In the age of expansion, the leading representatives of this house were described as well-fed and richly robed people. They were seen in newsreels reading their statements in quiet rooms full of newspeople, or coming with great gravity down the front stair of a shattered, bombed-out palace that had much patching and repairs. (TOS novel: Spock's World)

History[]

In the age of expansion, fighting continued in ta’Valsh for at least eighteen days as the Mahnheh Protectorate defied the claims of neighboring Lalirh for debated territory in the Tekeh area. Representatives for the Lords of Mahnheh and the King of Lahirh said in statements to the nets that there were no plans for talks at the time before the asteroid mining ship made a run for the space station. (TOS novel: Spock's World)

The Lords of Mahnheh claimed that the Tekeh area was settled in the Vulcan year 164330 by people of their lordship and demanded the immediate cession of the territory and payment of reparations, including an additional reparation of a hostage-exchange of one of the sons of the Lahirhi King. The Lahirhi denied these charges and stated in the past that any further movement against them by the Mahnheh would cause a nuclear exchange like that with which they brought down the government of neighbouring Ovek two decades prior. (TOS novel: Spock's World)

The hostilities between Duveh and the Lassirihen provinces showed some signs of settlement, but a minor terror and kidnapping guild called the Night Alliance (an offshoot of the old disbanded Mastercraft) threatened to destroy both the Duveh and Lassiriheh ruling houses if their demands for a part in the negotiations were not met within a tenday. (TOS novel: Spock's World)
