Klingon Empire

The House of T'Kuvma, formerly known as House of Girjah, was one of the Great houses of the Klingon Empire in the 23rd century. However, the house did not have a seat on the Imperial High Council.

History

Following the death of his father, T'Kuvma vowed to restore honor to his house. T'Kuvma, J'Ula and his followers were able to repair his father's ship and discovered it's cloaking device. While T'Kuvma went to Boreth's Monastery and studied the teaching of Kahless, J'Ula decided to marry D'Lor of House Mo'Kai and Sanar. Unfortunately, D'Lor killed T'Kuvma's brothers, but T'Kuvma refused to bow before him. J'Ula then told T'Kuvma that this marriage was the only way to ensure House Girjah's survival. T'Kuvma decided to leave House Girja in J'Ula's control in exchange for his family's sarcophagi and the Sarcophagus.(DSC - The Light of Kahless comics: "Issue 1", "Issue 2", "Issue 3")

T'Kuvma was then named leader of his house and made the Sarcophagus his flagship. T'Kuvma and his followers then searched for the Beacon of Kahless. During this time, T'Kuvma accepted L'Rell of the House of Mo'Kai and the albino Voq into his house. Together, they devised a way to unite the Great Houses and the Empire against their common enemy, the Federation.
